At first I thought it's a tow truck (common conversion for these old WC Dodges's in France), but there is no towing equipment.. |

This is a WC54 ambulance that has been modified. The upper portion of the rear body has been removed and a back panel fabricated for the cab. The front winch w/ split bumpers has been added. Surplus military vehicles were often plentiful and cheap thus it made sense to modify them for a different service in civilian life. |
