Agreed Velox/Wyvern [E] customised.

Nothing left to determine if its Velox or Wyvern but I guess Velox would be the most likley for this type of treatment.

The car is a 1954 VAUXHALL, E – SERIES, WYVERN (STREET ROD), How do I know, I bought it in 2001 with a view to restoring it. However time / money did not permit and I have recently sold it.
KNOWN DETAILS
1972, she belonged to a Richard Parks of Old Custom City (workshop), Chichester. Located at MAKO Prototype Engineering who started the original modification. The Wyvern was lowered by 5” at the back (using blocks) and 3 ½” at the front by cutting the springs and putting them in cups. The body was de-seamed and the rear doors were welded and lead filled, rear wheel spats were fitted and the roof was lowered 5” and moved 4” forward to allow split and peaked front screen, this left a very small rear screen as a consequence. The rear lights were frenched in and a floating grille was installed, original bumpers were retained.

1976, He sold it to a Glenn Clarke of Winchester / Chichester, he painted it Poseiden Green and installed the white pleated leather cloth interior, he also planned to put 13” moon discs on and Vauxhall Victor front and rear running gear

Ken Brooks , of Newbury bought it in 1985 From Glen, by this time the car had been resprayed Red he put in the V8 sprayed her Metallic Purple with Lilac Scallops, a little later the paintwork was damaged by a lorry, he then sprayed the car Matt Black and painted Low Life on the back (this is how she appeared in the Street Machine article).
He was a well known Custom Car man in the 1980s, he was a member of The Vultures a custom car club for 50s fanatics

There are at least three possible filming locations for the scene shown within twenty miles of Pinewood Studios in the UK.

Should be changed to a 1954 Wyvern.
