The discreetly understated 1960 Chrysler, from Virgil Exner, the man for whom "excess" was breakfast cereal... http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Factory/6634/mopar/chrys_60.jpg This car does not have large tailfins - those are actually large tailfins being sold in a bundle with a car for more convenient operation. PS. My bets are on Saratoga. -- Last edit: 2007-11-22 00:05:07 |

Agree, I was trying to find the Chrysler's page. Saratoga has the beltline trim, others do not. |

Isn't this a hardtop sedan [PC-2-M43] in stead of a coupe? |

Chrysler B-pillars were pretty small. The view of the passenger-side center post through the windscreen does look rather thick. Could there be some glass distortion, or you could be right, DynaMike. You're right again, this picture shows there isn't much distortion through the front glass: http://www.1960chrysler.8m.com/cgi-bin/i/Ads/YellowNY.JPG -- Last edit: 2007-11-22 00:47:13 |

If it's a pillared sedan, the chassis code would be [PC-2-M41]. But I'm pretty sure it's not the coupe ([PC-2-M23]. |

There's definitely another door handle here: /vehicle_139690-unknown.html . I'd go with [PC-2-M41]. I was agreeing that it was not a 2 dr sedan. It's tricky when I edit something that came before a new post. -- Last edit: 2008-02-16 20:43:15 |
