electra225 ◊ 2020-04-18 17:53	Early 1959 plate and I believe in it as it looks absolutely original. The tail lights were probably changed in 1960 to make it in conformity with the new code. Everybody should in 1960 change lights on cars built prior to the new code arrived in summer 1959. New casr were immediately adapted. To have amber rear and side indicators and many bought tail smaller tail lights identical to the all red 1959 version, but many as well bought the new and bigger one of the 500s and 600s available since November 1959. Between August 1959 and late October 1959 new ones had the same used till the summer of 1959 but with the new colors and more than adaptation that required the mild facelift of the next fall. -- Last edit: 2020-04-18 17:56:48
