Think this is P787GDA: http://www.ukemergency.co.uk/p787-gda-another-film-car-is-this-met-bmw/ P787 GDA ✗ Untaxed Tax due: 1 February 2015 ✗ MOT Expired: 12 September 2014 Vehicle make BMW Date of first registration June 1997 Year of manufacture 1997 Cylinder capacity 2793 cc Fuel type PETROL Vehicle colour SILVER Also seen in "The Da Vinci Code" (see comments): /vehicle_33661-BMW-5-E39-1996.html I recall that when they filmed in car shots of the patrol cars, a lot of the time they used an estate version of whatever car they were using. Often you could see this reflected in windows etc as they drove past To get their money's worth out of the in-camera vehicles you'd often see them appear as armed response cars (or similar) when backup was required. This applied to at least the BMWs, the Vectras used before them and even, I think, the Astras. |

22.35 As pointed out by Sandie they were used by ARV officers, when they were needed. They also used Vectras, Rovers and a Omega before the BMWs |

Your weren't kidding when you said they wanted to get their money's worth out, because here it is in 22.56, escorting an Ambalcune to an RTA for no reason, and is also never seen again this episode, the shot is really quick as well, so they didn't want anyone to notice it, but I did! |
