Premier then for sedan? Is Kingswood only for wagon or pickup versions? |

In this era Holdens went Belmont, Kingswood and Premier from base to luxury (like Chevs went Del Ray to Impala) The utes (not pickups) were only available as Belmonts and Kingswoods. Premiers usually had twin headlights. The wagons came in all three trim levels as the sedans. For a few years there was also a Monaro GTS four door sedan. It was easy to 'upgrade' the appearance of your base model by changing the front clip - hence there are now quite a few 'Premier' utes around. I would say that the car pictured here is a Kingswood because it has the shiny trim around the windscreen. The fog lights are likely to be aftermarket add ons. To add to the confusion there was also a 'one tonner' light truck which had a separate chassis - something the ute didn't have. |

HJ - HZ. Has HZ front grill. An HZ Kingswood would have Kingswood SL in the lower right hand side of the front grill. T |

well ... this one is a bit tricky. The grille is HJ vintage, and the car has non-genuine door mirrors and non-genuine wheel covers. A genuine HZ Kingswood SL would also have a black rubber bumper insert and side body mouldings. So, I'd reckon this car to be a 1974/76 vintage Holden HJ Belmont or Kingswood sedan. |

Which one is easy to swapped: wiper arm or the grille |
