This is a FF Normal Lancer ... If u watch the Car Chase Scene Carefully ... U'll see some screen is using FF Lancer ... |

a real shame what they did to that EVO |

They use FF Lancer in some scene, its wheels are 4 bolt slotted, not 5 |

You're right EYKEY_47!!!! They shouldn't do this, because I like the Lancers from the mid-to-late 90's, ansd also the 2001-07 ones! They should destroy the 2008+ ones, since I don't like them because of the front end! |

And unfortunately, a black Lancer has been wrecked by a tanker at the end of the chase through Paris streets in "Taxi 2"! |

Licence plate is VBH271T (South African?). |

yes, Transvaal. |

In 1994 Transvaal was divided into Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and North West provinces, so the Transvaal plates were probably already invaldi by 1998. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transvaal_Province#History -- Last edit: 2017-06-18 20:40:38 |

You two are correct, it is a South African plate. I saw that scene four or five times and didn't know it was South African, yet some shots of the chase were in the Netherlands (see thumbmails 5, 6 and 7). |

1996-98. |

Nope. Everything you see is done purely with a 4WD Lancer Evo. Like, can't you even see a driveshaft on that pic? FF Lancers don't have such a thing. -- Last edit: 2022-05-19 09:57:38 |
