Commander 57 ◊ 2019-07-04 04:30	There is no such thing as a '68 Mark III. 1969 was the first model year. Believe the subject car is a '70 or '71 since the wipers appear to be hidden. The '69 models had exposed wipers.

Commander 57 ◊ 2019-07-04 23:18	I agree indeed it was a very long model year. But all production cars from the first were VIN-coded with a "9" to designate the 1969 model year. Also, the period automobile value guide books such as NADA all list 1969 models as the first.
