"Warlock," built by Gary Glenn of Lansing, Michigan, and was one of the most radical custom vans in the the country at the height of the van craze. The top was chopped a full seven inches...not practical at all, but certainly arresting. It's actually a 1975 model. It was brand-new when it was built that same year, originally as the "North Star," but after Glenn moved to California in 1977, he decided to customize the van even further, and the "Warlock" was born. It looks pretty different now, although its current owner is attempting to restore it to its Warlock configuration. There are numerous photos here of all versions of the van, including its "barn find" appearance a couple of years ago: https://barnfinds.com/rock-n-roll-high-school-movie-van-found/ |

Updating to 1975 based off the barn find link above. |
