Cliff throws Bruce Lee into the right side, which causes the stunt coordinator (who owns the car) to ban him from working on her set. |

It's a 1968. The 1969s had a different, eggcrate-style grill and trim around the headlight assembly. Also, the 1969s all had standard front-seat headrests (federal mandate) which were optional until then but absent on this car. Closeup of the grill clearly showing 1968 style: P.S.: You can clearly see that they needed several takes to get the scene right where Bruce was thrown into the side of the Lincoln. In the movie there's clearly visible damage from prior attempts that's been not-quite-well concealed by repair efforts: |

The car obviously has softer prop doors installed for the scene where he thrown into the car...I assume that's about as straight-looking as they could make them. |

Prop doors....interesting!! There should be a disclaimer at the beginning, "No Lincoln Continentals were damaged during the course of filming." But it probably had more to do with mitigating any stuntman injuries, especially for multiple takes! The paint just does not look original on this car, if that is relevant. I haven't seen the movie, but with this feast of cars, it is now on my list. Plus, I have never seen a Tarrentino film. |
