DKW F 8 Front Cabrio 1939.Unusual to see one with right hand drive:it is not an image inversion since the Warsawa at the rear has left hand drive. |

I can't explain this. Even if the car has been quitted by Germans after the war, the steering wheel should be on the opposite side (no?). |

Did DKW export to any right hand drive markets? If they were exporting to Britain, they could have been stuck with unsold RHD stock when war broke out. And Czechoslovakia drove on the left until the German occupation in 1939. Link to "en.wikipedia.org" |

I doubt that this car is from CS or Britain. Well, seems sometimes before the war cars in Poland were RHD. ![]() Edit: Here it is: /vehicle_120194-unknown.html -- Last edit: 2007-08-02 18:11:53 |

Prior to WWII ,DKW did export right hand drive versions of their cars to the UK through their organisation Auto-Union sales limited of Great Portland Street London W 1.So it is possible that right hand drive versions also found their way , not only to commonwealth countries but also to other countries with left driving as prewar Chechoslovakia and Sweden. |
