"I've just watched an old episode of George and Mildred (The Little Dog Laughed) and there was a Triumph Stag with the reg RVC 425H looked like saffron to me but on a reg check it comes up as white registered 26/3/70 and date of liability of 1/6/86 so is a very early one."

RVC 425H = Pre-production [LD4], with several imcdb entries. "The Little Dog Laughed" seems to be S1 Episode 07, transmitted 18 Oct 1976.
