I have contacted the 3D modeler himself, and it's implied that the Family Guy animators never got his permission to use the 3D model. Understandably, he has stopped posting publicly since 2010 (the 3D Warehouse gives incorrect dates for older models) due to people reposting/stealing his 3D models, so there is no easy way to contact him. |
