looks like a 1971-72. I don't think "Hardtop" is a necessary part of the name, can that be removed? |

Just another reason to add "hardtop" as a category |

Hard top as category? what is the point? or is it a convertible and you can remove the roof? in that case it must go with the convertibles, but if its not then it is a normal coupe... |

Hardtop is a body style without pillars between the A-pillar and the rear pillar (what would normally be a C-pillar). It is a distnictive body style (coming in 2-door hardtop coupe and 4-door hardtop variants), until the 1970s (and up to 1990s in Japan) many cars were available in both "pillared" and "hardtop" variants. |

We usually included it as extra info, as some cars existed in both variant as Bravada said, and that it was usually included in the "full name" used commercially. No need to continue here what was refused on the forum (and it won't change anything for this case: we still put "convertible" in name or extra info though there is a "convertible" category) -- Last edit: 2007-12-03 18:29:25 |

I will just sit and wait, one day you will grow ready to the decision to introduce this category |
