[nitpicking] Are you sure it was sold as V-8 Pilot? Most places, they are V8 Pilot. To make it even more exciting, on our site they are Pilot V8 [/nitpicking] Made 1947-51. List as 1947 by default. |

Not worried about the dash, if V8 is right, so be it. AFAIK they have been referred to as V8 Pilot here, as there were V8 Fords that weren’t Pilot, but no Pilots that weren’t V8. |

Glass's agrees with jfs as V-8 Pilot. 2 other books I've quickly pulled out go for V8 Pilot. Another just says Pilot. Nothing obvious as Pilot V8. Do we want to humbly petition Sir Admin to perform a block update for our 40+ examples?? |
