What is the nationality of these soldiers? It may give us a clue. Those big cabriolet irons look German. Those wheel hubs are distinctive - maybe a Hanomag or any other one of the less common German models. |

I wondered if they were Dutch as the movie name looks Dutch - is it about the invasion of Holland?? That was the reason I suspected the car was German as that was where many cars in Holland came from. The car is far too big to be a Fiat Ballila. |

Looks like an Opel 1.2 liter cabriolet, from 1931 on... Btw, is it really true that most of the cars in the Netherlands in the 30s were German? I allways thought they had French and American cars, because that could be seen until ca. the 90s. |
