Similar to this Tissier bodied CX: /vehicle_17452-Citroen-CX-Ambulance-1979.html Since filming location is Germany, it could be also a conversion of Mike's Garage (Loadrunner). -- Last edit: 2017-06-23 08:17:14 |

Version 1983-85, can be 1985 only IF they took this painted bumper from the 1985 GTI Turbo (less likely) or if painted bumper was simply inspired by the bumper of '85 GTI Turbo (more likely)... |

It's no ambulance. It's a newspaper-express-van (for that reason the two back axles), disguised as an ambulance for the movie. -- Last edit: 2017-06-25 16:24:25 |

Your are probably right. By the details it must by a conversion by Tissier (and not Mike's Garage (D) or Pijpops (B). |

"2400" should be put under extra information, as it just refers to the CX's engine size. |

Indeed it does, but check out the brochures from the 2x00 era : http://www.citroenet.org.uk/publicity-brochures/1974-cx-gb/026.jpg http://www.citroenet.org.uk/foreign/jugoslavija/1975-cimos-cx/002.jpg or http://www.citroenet.org.uk/publicity-brochures/1977-no-cx/012.jpg |

True, but all the CXs from this era have their engine designation listed under extra information, rather than as part of the model name. Examples: /vehicle.php?id=16096 /vehicle.php?id=39322 /vehicle.php?id=340553 /vehicle.php?id=170669 /vehicle.php?id=117810 This is the only result for a Citroen CX 2400 with "2400" as part of the model name; it should either be changed or the other early CXs should be re-listed accordingly. |
