Would it be at all possible to show anything more. That is the side, to see if it has a side strip and thus is a 300 [W 112]. The rear to see if it has one or two exhaust pipes. The mirrors; if the inside one is chromed or black, if the door mirrors has a stright "stem" or if it is curved, sometimes known as "swan neck".

At the moment, I can see that the space, between the bars in the grille, is grey. That would point yowards a date previous to 1968.
If I can believe my eyes, it has rubber on the bumpers. That should point towards a manufacturer date of 1969 or later, but if so it should have had a flatter grille. And different door mirrors.
The matt black roof might point towards it's a Convertible, but I'm far from certain.

I don't know what to believe.

Having had a glance on the episode myself, I can state a few things.

It has no side strip, and thus a [W 111] rather than a [W 112].
The outside door mirror stem is stright, hence possibly pointing towards a 250 SE, rather than a 220 SE.
The grille has a finer mesh, pointing to a pre 1968 MY.
The engine has no flat air filter on top, and thus no V8. But the six cylinders look much the same.
The horn ring on the steering wheel has a flatter top, pointing towards a 1964(?)-65 220 SE or a 1966-67 250 SE. Early 220 SE had a round horn ring, the 280 SE had a rounded top.

Very difficult to say anything definitive. The door mirror might argue it's a 250 SE, but could easily have been mounted on a 220 SE. Perhaps best to say a 220 SE [W 111] as default.
