It looks more like an AEC NS-type than a Dennis.

I had these as AEC NS type myself. Couple of infelicities: no rear registration plate, for one; the other that there are two front registrations seen: XM4863 and XM2837 are fictional. Of the NS fleet, only NS1, new in 1922 in open top form, had an XM registration.

The rear registration "plate" was a black panel in the near side back window of the bus and was obscured by the staircase in the pictures above.

As far as I can find, the only Dennis double deck buses operated by LGOC between the wars were open topped, and had the driver's position behind the engine rather than alongside it. The pre WWI types would have gone by this time, and in any case were not fitted with pneumatic tyres. There were also some small Dennis 20 seaters of type GL, but I can find nothing resembling the subject bus built by Dennis.

Dennis last name I would think of.

AEC NS-Type, nothing Dennis about for me also.
