#90.

Clumsy attempt to pass it for the 'Ancelier'-Delahaye having an accident.

Looks like a slightly modified 'civil' torpedo, Bentley or Chenard & Walcker.

Appears to be the Lagonda LG45 driven at the '36 French Grand Prix by Spanish privateers. Here is a nice Pathé newsreel of the race.

#90 in 1936 Grand Prix automobile de France at Montlhéry was Enaro Leóz Abad/Genaro Leóz Abad in private Lagonda LG45 according to http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grand_Prix_automobile_de_France_1936 . This becomes HLL 534 (chassis 12100) if you disentangle these separate quotes:

After Lagonda went bust in 1935, it was revived and "Lagonda's new owners were keen to build on the racing successes and commissioned Fox & Nicholl to produce cars for the '36 Le Mans. Two four-seaters were built on the new LG45 10ft 9in chassis: registered as 'EPB 101' (chassis number '12108') and 'EPB 102' ('12109'). Additionally a couple of two-seater cars were built: 'HLL 534' ('12100') and 'EPE 97' ('12111')." - https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/20148/lot/361/ (a sales page for Le Mans Team Car Replica NJ 9185 [chassis 12001 - originally a saloon]

and from a sales page for EPE 97 [12111] "Two two-seaters were also created for competition. This example, chassis EPE 97, is one of the two examples created. It was completed in May of 1936 and was given UK registration 'EPE 97' that August. The two-seater sister car, 'HLL 534', is still in existence. The whereabouts of the two four-seater cars is unknown. Instead of Fox & Nicholls' normal racing red livery, their two-seater car was painted French blue at its racing debut. It was driven by Algerian-born French driver Marcel Lehoux in the sports car Grand Prix de l'ACF at Montlhéry, outside Paris, France on June 28, 1936. 'HLL 534' won its class while 'EPE 97' was forced to retire prematurely. It is believed that this was HLL 534's only race."
