Sunbar ◊ 2014-08-04 12:10	Not K2 Loadstar I think, but the K4 Loadstar 4-5 tonner looks like the eight-stud wheel. Registration looks to be only 2-3 years old when filmed? But truck looks considerably older or well worn a wrecker or recovery lorry thats been re-registered possibly?

Introduced in 1949 the series II K4 Loadstar was a 2-tonner or 4-5 tonner only (unless introduced later but unlikely). The series I Austin K3 was only a wartime 1939-45 truck either civilian type or military K3, after 1946 the K3 became the K4 truck as a 4-5 tonner in long wheelbase, and short wheelbase tipper and tractor as far as I can determine. Plus steel shortages limited production significantly and there appeared to be a significant number of ex-wartime 3-tonners that were re-conditioned or just put into civilian use.
