Truck is FAP 13-14,typ (Fabrika Automobila Priboj-Jugoslavia)produced from earlier 60-ties till mid. 80-ties under the licence of "Saurer Werke" West Germany.This is 4x4 military version with reduction, produced for JNA (Jugoslav Peoples Army).Used as basic military heavy transport vehicle. |

Older FAP 6 GAF, first military version, build under Saurer license. The main difference from "younger" FAP 13 and 1314 is the parasol above windscreen. Here we can note the triangle on top, which was necessary for all vehicles that could tow trailers under old traffic regulations. |

I must to correct my self. On one military forum some members who are retired army members noted that this FAP from Battle of Neretva movie is even older model, FAP 4 GAE-L. The detail even I didn't know are the gratings in front of truck's "nose", which have curved top, while FAP 6 GAF had flat top of those gratings. Here are some old army manuals that have been displayed there on forum.
