I can definitely be wrong about this, but I don't think the plastic bumper was an option until like 1988 or later. Because I searched specifically for the 1987 model year to check if it came with the plastic bumper as an option, but the only ones that I saw with that option are from 1988-90, and 1987 doesn't seem to be one of them. Is that actually true, or is it just me?
