How can you tell it apart from a GMC duece and a half? |

It is the Chevrolet G-7107 1½-ton 4x4 (1942). As far as I know the name G-506 was also used. I have no further information about that so far. Dodgeman, can you help? @hiergehts: The GMC CCKW 352/353 ('Deuce and a Half' or 'Jimmy') is a 6x6. |

From the front...the GMC has a very small "GMC" plate in the center above the grille. The slits in the side panels above the fenders are also different. The Chevy has only a few near the rear and the GMC has them all down the side. In this front view the Chevy vent slits are visible. I think the front bumper is larger on the Chevy also? |

Chevrolet, yes, but for the GMC CCKW, take care, they have not all the small plate GMC on the front grille !!! http://www.figurines.miniatures.de/vehicules/camion-cckw-353-cargo.jpg |
