Looks most like a 1974 Plymouth Fury.My only reservation is the grille. Was this filmed outside of the US (perhaps Canada)? It may be a non-usa version. |

It is a 1975 Plymouth Gran Fury. That is why it has a slightly different grill from the Fury of 74-75: /vehicle_16101-Plymouth-Gran-Fury-1975.html Plus, this film was obivously filmed in the Deep South, because of the Confederate flag where the plate normally goes. To be honset, it looks the same as the Gran Fury I\\\'ve given a link in The Dukes of Hazzard |

According to the IMDB this was a Canada-US co-production filmed. The locations given are Clayton, Georgia and Toronto. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0125308/locations The Confederate flag isn't really proof of where it was filmed. The sheriff badge on the side was probably put on for the film, so the Confederate plate is just another detail to give it the look of a sheriff's car in the South. -- Last edit: 2010-05-12 14:22:41 |
