pilou ◊ 2006-01-08 22:18	Yes ,I would also think it is 1939 panel delivery van since there are no bumper guards .In some countries though , 1939 models had additional small standing lights on top of the front fenders and on this picture the grille is hidden by a hose so one cannot spot the very slight grille differences with the 1938 models.Big difference not seen here of course were the hydraulic brakes on the 1939's.The 1938's still had the mechanical brakes.

DAF555 ◊ 2006-01-08 22:37	Ford used both terms "Skåpvagn" and "Leveranssedan" for these vehicles in an ad from 1937 that I have, I guess it depends on the level of equipment. If this a more basic version it is "Skåpvagn".
pilou ◊ 2006-01-08 22:47	This van is designated a "panel delivery van" and is based on the commercial truck chassis 99C of 1939 .The "panel delivery sedan" model 91 A of 1939 was based on the 1939 Ford Standard car.So this one is not a delivery sedan but a delivery van.
