Though there is no "Spirit of Ecstasy" on the radiator, I think it's a Rolls-Royce

Could it be a Springfield Rolls-Royce? Quite apart from the wandering (and unconvincing) British number-plate, the set and props have a distinctly back-lot look ... no British locomotive ever looked like that :??:

Definitely a Hollywood set designer's idea of 'olde England' and olde English registrations. :) It seems to be pre-war 20/25 and has a Sedanca de Ville body. Mulliner produced a body like this but probably other coachbuilders did, too. The bumpers don't look quite right so maybe it is a Springfield because an American built body would have bumpers for dealing with other American cars.

imho too big for a 20/25 hp.

More likely Phantom 2.

Rolls Royce Phantom II Pullman Limousine de Ville by Barker 1930. English build, Phantom II was not constructed in Springfield, but the LHD New Phantom chassis was still in stock in large numbers. Probably originally supplied to an English owner, but crossed the pond in the thirties. The bumpers are American, and installed to cope with U.S. traffic. The scenery is indeed mock-English.

It's a rhd chassis. Pre-1JS Phantom II series.
