What the hell shall this scene show? Both cars have GDR-lookalike-plates and the uniform of the "policeman" can be seen a bit a GDR-style, too. Was this the British idea in the 60ies of the German-German-border? Two red/white wooden bars with a bit barbed wire on a forest-path? And the GDR-Stasi has BMW CS as patrol-cars? Wahahhaa - it's such a kind of grotesque trash, that it's even funny. By the way: I've seen a TV-reportage about the GDR-border-fortification, where also old Stasi-filme were shown. In one scene they have crashed such a BMW CS to show, how strong is the last turnpike. The lat turnpike before West Germany was pure steel, so strong, that it cutted a crashing car in two pices. In this Stasi-video you could see only Western cars, which were destroyed! Obviously all confiscated ones. Expect that BMW CS, you could see a BMW 2800, a VW 1300 1968+ and a Fiat 124 (the Fiat-badge was extra shown - to see, that they don't took a valuable high-performance Lada 1200 for it). -- Last edit: 2007-11-09 22:58:56 |

Ingo, I bet nobody concerned with this series ever came nearer the Zonengrenze than Hamburg. Just be grateful they tried to fake the number-plates and uniform and managed to find a Moskvich .gif ":)") |
