 It's a 1970+ Mini Mk III. By the date of the film and being a French car, we can assume it's a car that still carried an Austin or Morris badge. I would say it can be a 850 or a 1000, as it seems thay could have in France a similar trim (as seen here: /vehicle.php?id=747314). These over-riders with rubber inserts and tubes are aftermarket items from one of the various French firms like Sacred, for instance.

 Given that almost all Minis in F from early 60s to 80s have these extra bumper bits, I think they were made-for-F fixtures, not just accessories. As a total theory I wonder if Mk3 1000 had them fitted as standard, but 850 did not. The early Mk3s we have in F without the bumpers(under both 850 and 1000, and with or without Austin) are mostly that 70-72-ish orange.

 I think perhaps Bref could help in this case. I know there were several firms making them - as this 1965 ad shows - and, for the obvious reasons, they were very popular in big cities (like Paris). Although being an aftermarket accessory, I agree they could have been ordered at the dealership when buying the car, but as an optional item. That explains the several types available, giving the possibility of a later fitting when the car wasn't ordered with them.

 In the May 1972 issue of the French magazine "L'Automobile" I found an ad from C.A.R. accessories that seems to match the kit sported by this Mini. The same magazine also shows the range of Austin/Morris Minis: the 850 was available in a more basic version (perhaps similar to the UK one) called de Luxe and also a Super de Luxe; the 1000 was only available as Super de Luxe.
In this case, I suppose the chrome trim in the window seal identifies a Super de Luxe (I think the basic 850 didn't have it).
