Sadly no, we just learned that this car was converted into a mobile camera platform and the weight of all the equipment probably caused the wooden floor to rest on the hot exhaust and the car was burnt out.
The car referred to by dsl is safe and well and is regularly used here in Sydney. It was a Royal Stock car before being used for the Queen Mother's Royal Tour in 1958. It was then used as VIP transport by the Government of Queensland until 1969 when sold to a private owner, from whose family I purchased it.

Presumably this one -
"In 1948 King George VI ordered a Daimler DE36 with All Weather tourer body by Hooper. The car was delivered in early 1949 to the Royal Muse" (:D - I think they mean Royal Mews, not some sort of regal poet). "It was fitted with adjustable shaped front seat in case the King wished to drive and the slim cloth in the rear compartment. The car was painted originally in silver grey colour, however in 1952 it was repainted in to royal colours and used by the Queen Elizabeth II until 1957, when it was sold to the Governor of Queensland for the official use." from here (about half way down)
