La reconstitution est néanmoins très soignée, si les personnages sont parfois des caricatures. Lucas Belvaux est excellent. Pas mal de véhicules, dont une très rare chenillette anti-chars. Ce film d'Yves Boisset, dont l'action se situe de 1936 à 1939, est une sorte de pamphlet anti-militariste et, comme tous les pamphlets, assez lourdement écrit. La reconstitution est néanmoins très soignée, si les personnages sont parfois des caricatures.

Lucas Belvaux est excellent.
