Lots of cars to identify :D Except the Ford & the Indian for which I knew the make because it was written on them, all others are listed as unknown, I let our specialists in old cars the fun of the identification ;)
Probably some duplicates, that I'll regroup then.

Let's hope we don't end up with a page full of unknowns, like with some other films containing vintage cars...

Would be nice to also have years on some models, as I guess that all these Ford T are not the same :D

This film was about the Wineville Chicken Coop Murders, the abduction and murders of three young boys committed by Canadian-born chicken farmer, Gordon Stewart Northcott at the Northcott family ranch at Wineville in Riverside County near the city of Los Angeles between 1926 and 1928.

While it was confirmed that Northcott abducted and killed three boys, it is believed that Northcott had killed at least 20 boys.

Northcott's spree came to an end when a young woman named Jessie Clark (who was unaware of the abductions and murders) had came to the ranch to see her brother and Northcott's nephew, Sanford Clark who was staying with Northcott.

While there, Clark had admitted to her that Northcott was abusing him and that Northcott had been abducting and killing young boys and forcing Clark in disposing their bodies.

Clark also warned Jessie to go back to Canada, stating the reason that Northcott could kill her.

When she went back to Canada, Jessie and told both her and Sanford's mother, Winifred Clark who then got in touch with the American Consul to Canada who in turn contacted the LAPD.

Northcott was arrested in Vernon, British Colombia on the 19th September 1928 and was extradited back to California on the 30th November 1928, he was later convicted and sentenced to death on the 8th February 1929.

He was later hung at San Quentin State Prison in San Quentin, California on the morning of the 2nd October 1930.

This film also dealt with Christine Collins, the mother of Walter who was abducted and murdered by Northcott on the 10th March 1928 and her unlawful imprisonment in the psychiatric ward of the Los Angeles County General Hospital by the Los Angeles Police Department after she repeatedly made claims that a boy that the police found wasn't her son.

There was a photo feature in the Collectible Automobile, Volume 33, Number 6; April 2017, page 24: 1926 Ford Model T Touring Car. This feature vehicle has Phoenix Brown paint and (red) wire wheels. The story goes:

Collectible Automobile wrote This car was in the 2008 movie Changeling starring Angela Jolie and directed by Clint Eastwood. Gwinn (owner of this subject vehicle) not only drove the car in the movie, but also drove it 30 miles from his home in San Dimas, California, to Los Angeles where it appeared in a protest scene outside City Hall.

I am unable to locate the featured car listed here.
