 rearanged pics as in the opening scene we see TWA 707 landing, taxiing, to reach final parking position
3.3. last take is 707 format fitting size plane handler looking to the cockpit, and than surprise
3.4. the pilot glancing back at him from another airplane,http://www.flickr.com/photos/23269353@N00/7565578054/lightbox/ beeing Convair Coronado inserted in scene TWA 707 coming home

as the Convair has higher side window with rounded forward corner to give more ground surface visibility
but has no upper window at all
this bigger window maybe was the reason to choose TWA 880

 I clearly remeber twi cars in this movie's traffic scenes:
1) a light blue '59 Chevrolet Impala very nice to see by behind (I love '59 Chevys)
2) a much rarer (in the USA) 1958+ Vauxhall Victor F, possibly grey if I remember well...!

 Hey electra225, sharing the fixation on ´59 Impala i only have captured this light blue 1960
/vehicle_521280-Chevrolet-Impala-1960.html
the Vauxhall maybe i missed, although eas focused on street scenes
as movie is 100min with 66 indoor talkie compared to 33min outdoor in bus talkie
maybe that is the reason many of us will remember but not contributed until now
i have another 60ies classic filmed in New York waiting for editing

 as mentioned earlier, can only capture some stills when broadcasted,
so the missing Vauxhall comes on todo list next time :)

Oh Yes I really love '59 Chevrolets too much.
