12 minute film from 1924, part of the "Wonderful London" series produced by Graham Wilcox Films and directed by Harry B Parkinson & Frank Miller. Released in 2012 on a BFI dvd

with 12 of these films (apparently there were 20+ altogether). It's the fourth of the 6 extras on the DVD; can't find it on youtube, but BFI site should work instead.

A tour of central London with "the last 'orse bus" left

... and the jolly old driver who's been doing them for several hundred years so has seen all the changes. As a film it's basically a continuation of London Old and New - same coach and driver, and although they both have completely unique footage, several sequences were filmed in one go then split between the films.

This was possibly the most interesting film in the series so far due to lots of quirky bits thrown in:

I enjoy eating Grape-Nuts for breakfast. Probably I inherited from my late maternal Grandfather when he had it for breakfast.
