The bridge is a fake (CGI already in 1992?) There's no bridge over the Loch Alsh. The bridge at Kyle of Lochalsh is a few kilometers away. This was the world's most toll bridge, but since some years the passing is free. In 2001 we've paid a f*cking money, 15 Pounds or so, but in 2008 it was already free.

 Bridge is real - it's not the Skye bridge but the shorter one at Dornie over the mouth of Loch Long - http://www.flickr.com/photos/ralphstewart/3020267644/ . And it's always been free to cross.

 :think: Oh, my fault, sorry I thought, this bridge is more on the left, more West and postioned in annother angle.

Btw. The well-known intro of the "Highlander" was filmed there, too: http://www.highlander-chronik.de/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/eileancastle.jpg the film-team stood in front of the toilet-house and the gift shop.
