1950 Cadillac Fleetwood 75
Plunder Road (1957)
I agree with "Animatronixx" : 1950 Fleetwood 75 2008-12-31 14:12

Night Editor (1946)
It has a 1932 LaSalle look about it, but I wouldn't bet more than 60% on this small, dark, fuzzy image. In addition, the close-up view reveals a hood mascot that looks more like Packard's "Sliding Boy" than any Cadillac Goddess or Heron mascot that would have fit the 1932 LaSalle. Just for info, here's a 1932 LaSalle pic:

1969 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado
Super Fly (1972)
I'm guessing 1969 despite the missing "ELDORADO" letters above the front fender spear. 2008-12-26 02:44
1972 Cadillac Coupe DeVille
Super Fly (1972)
I'd say 1972. The 1971 models did not have the "V" below the crest on the trunk. 2008-12-26 02:42
1977 Cadillac Eldorado
Broadway Danny Rose (1984)
Yes, "Antp". The "Eldorado" became a part of the "Fleetwood" group in 1964 and remained so for the next yen years. Sorry "Benzilla" but these were called "Fleetwood Eldorado" models up to and including 1973. In the 1973 catalog you can see these words, "Shown is the Fleetwood Eldorado convertible..." 2008-12-19 00:05
1930 Cadillac V-16 Fleetwood Roadster [452]
A Successful Failure (1934)
Despite the poor image quality, I too believe it's a Cadillac Series 452-452A V-16 roadster from 1930-31. This is Fleetwood body style #4302 of which 105 units were built. 2008-12-18 23:51
1966 Cadillac Fleetwood 75
100 höjdare (2004-2008)
Agreed! 2008-12-18 23:41
1973 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado
Bangkok Dangerous (2008)
Agreed ! 2008-12-18 23:39
1973 Cadillac Sedan DeVille
The Hunter (1980)
It has been "pimped" with a chrome grille cap and fake 1942 Cadillac hood goddess. 2008-12-18 23:38
1948 Cadillac Series 61 Sedanet
Perry Mason (1957-1966)
How can you tell the difference between the 1948 and 1949 Series 61 coupes, without seeing the front clip? What am I missing? 2008-12-18 23:32
1947 Cadillac Fleetwood 75
Perry Mason (1957-1966)
I reckon it's a '47 model (name on front fenders is spelled out in script instead of block letters, as in 1946, and there are only 5 horizontal grille bars compared to 6 on the '46 cars

I agree wholeheartedly with "DynaMike". 2008-12-04 20:35
1956 Cadillac Eldorado Seville [6237S]
Oz & James' Big Wine Adventure (2006-??)
Some (if not all) of these were factory conversions. Ex-President Nixon drove one on a state visit to Peru in the late fifties. You can see others in my "Cadillac Database": www.car-nection.com/yann/Dbas_txt/Drm56.htm 2008-11-30 04:03
1932 Cadillac V-16 Sport Phaeton [452-B]
Ivar Kreuger (1998)
I agree 100% with Richard of C. I'm pretty sure it's a V-16 (one of two built) and that it belongs to Swedish aficionado, Anders Lack. 2008-11-26 06:34
1969 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado
Planet Terror (2007)
"Moondoggie" is right. I must have had a drink too many when I gave my first opinion ! 2008-11-15 23:27
1995 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon
Burn After Reading (2008)
I have two '94 Roadmaster Estate wagons that look just like this car. I don't think Buick changed the body styling much, from 1991-1996. Great cars, BTW ! 2008-11-03 00:36
1984 Cadillac Seville E&G
Highway (2002)
Per the grille and logo, it's a custom job from E&G. 2008-11-03 00:29
1987 Cadillac Brougham
Pineapple Express (2008)
I think it's an '81 Fleetwood ...except for the "wings" on the amber park and turn signal lenses? 2008-11-03 00:23
1941 Cadillac Fleetwood 75
The Locket (1946)
[Sorry, I put this post initially in the wrong place] Agreed as to year and basic Series (Fleetwood "75"), but this could be one of six body styles that all look the same when viewed from the outside: (1) #7519, 5-pass. sedan, with no auxiliary seating, (2)#7519F, 5-pass. imperial sedan with chauffeur division but no auxiliary seating, (3) #7523, 7-pass. sedan, with auxiliary seating for 2, (4) #7523L, 9-pass. business sedan, with auxiliary seating for 3, (5) #7533, 7-pass. imperial sedan with division and auxiliary seating for 2, (6) #7533L, 9-pass. business imperial sedan, with division and auxiliary seating for 3. Differences were in the seating arrangements, type of chauffeur division and quality of finish, trim and interior detailing. The livery cars (those with the "L" suffix), that could accommodate 9 passengers (including the driver) were built for commercial hire or other business passenger transport. Their finish was not as luxurious, for example, as the regular models with plush seating for five or seven passenhers, again including the driver. Two formal cars were also available in the series (#7533F and #7559); unlike the movie car, these had fully enclosed rear quarters, for greater passenger privacy. 2008-10-24 15:22

A View to a Kill (1985)
1959 Series 62 convertible. 2008-10-11 21:32
1951 Cadillac Fleetwood 75
The Prize (1963)
The '51 and '52 limos had the same profile. Hard to tell the precise year without seeing the front or rear ensembles. 2008-10-09 21:14
1962 Cadillac Series 62
The Prize (1963)
It's more likely a "Series 62" 6-window sedan or a 6-window "Sedan de Ville". IMHO, the roof quarter panel is too narrow for it to be a "Series 60 Special". 2008-10-09 21:09
1941 Cadillac Series 63 [6319]
Teenagers from Outer Space (1959)
IMHO, it's a 1941 Cadillac "Series 63" touring sedan:

1929 Cadillac Series 341-B Fleetwood Town Car
Cimarron (1931)
Actually, it's a 1929 Cadillac town car on the V8 chassis. More importantly, though (and other than what appears to be a quarter window, barely visible through the open rear door), this looks identical to a unique Fleetwood design built for the 1929 New York Salon. This was Fleetwood's central display at the Salon, entitled "L'art moderne". It was beautifully finished in black lacquer and polished metal. It featured the Fleetwood raised, curved hood molding arching across the hood from the radiator shroud down to the body sill just ahead of the front door. The recessed hood and cowl panels (as may be seen in the IMCD photo) were of polished aluminum, spot-buffed (engine turned) to give that Damascened finish. Moldings around the body, windows, top and back, headlights, windshield frame, wheel spokes and trunk rack all were bright chrome. A new rayon fabric was used for the seats, which were piped with silver leather; plain rayon was sed for the sides and headlining. The division cabinetry was inlaid with 22 different varieties of hardwoods.

To form a better opinion, look at these pics from my "Cadillac Database":

1930 Cadillac V-16 Fleetwood Transformable Town Cabriolet [452]
It Happened One Night (1934)
It's hard to determine from this angle if this is the long- or the short-bodied town car in the "4300" series of Cadillac V-16 models. There were two distinct bodies: (1) the shorter "4312", which had seating for five with two occasional folding seats (one facing to the rear, the other to the side); (2)the longer "4325", which also had seating for five but whose longer body allowed for two, wull width, forward-facing, folding auxiliary seats. The "4312" is the rarer of the two, with only two dozen units built. The more common car is the "4325" (35 units as mentioned by "nzcarnerd"). Let's assume, as does "nzcarnerd" that this is the more common car. I would imagine that this actual car belonged to one of the movie moguls of the time. De Mille had one as did Zanuck, later. 2008-09-28 18:25
1931 LaSalle Phaeton [345-A]
It Happened One Night (1934)
Definitely a phaeton, a special phaeton or a sport phaeton (the names that were used in the late 20s and early 30s to designate this type of 5-pass. open car). I'd say the year is closer to 1931 than 1933 (these metal side-mounted spare tire covers were optionally available already in 1930-31 - at least on Cadillac models). The rear window on the convertible top, here, is not the typical shape used by Cadillac. Other than that, the general shape of the car(at least viewed from this angle) could well be that of a Cadillac phaeton, special phaeton or sport phaeton on the 1931 V8 or V12 chassis, or the V16 of 1930-31. 2008-09-28 18:13
1930 LaSalle Sedan Fleetwood [340]
It Happened One Night (1934)
The 1930 Cadillacs look much the same as this car, and THEY have the side lights atop the front fenders. Unfortunately, the image is dark and fuzzy. I can't tell if that grille badge says "V8" or "Buick". 2008-09-28 17:52
1965 Chevrolet C-Series
Shag (1989)
Note the optional bucket seats in the 1964 "DeVille" series Cadillac in the foreground. 2008-09-27 19:29
1959 Cadillac
Shag (1989)
That's definitely not a Cadillac crest on the inner door panel. However, the body design may well be a GM car (other than Cadillac) of 1959-60. 2008-09-27 19:25
1956 Cadillac
Kings of Rock n Roll (2004)
1956 Cadillac (100% sure). Impossible to tell which model from just this corner of the front grille ! 2008-09-25 04:36
1947 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible
Hurry Sundown (1967)
1947 Cadillac "Series 62" convertible. 2008-09-25 04:34
1977 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham
Back to School (1986)
And 1977 for sure. 2008-09-21 14:49
1954 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible [6267X]
À bout de souffle (1960)
I rented the movie from "Netflix" and watched it again last night. Definitely a "Series 62" convertible coupe from 1954. "Bebel" (Jean-Paul Belmondo) does indeed call it an "Eldorado" (a common mistake among non-cognoscenti with convertible Cadillacs of this era). 2008-09-17 03:26
1978 Cadillac Fleetwood Limousine
Beaches (1988)
The '77 catalog shows the wheel cover centers painted the same color as the body. The '78s had plain centers, like the movie car. Perhaps it's a '77 with '78 wheel covers. 2008-09-16 16:03
1946 Cadillac Series 62 Sedan
Taxi 13 (1954)
I'll say a "Series 62" sedan. Poor pic. 2008-09-10 16:53
1955 Cadillac Fleetwood 75
Psycho (1960)
Hard to tell the difference, indeed, from this fuzzy image. 2008-09-05 18:06
1971 Cadillac Fleetwood 75
The Brain Machine (1977)
Actually, I think it IS a '71 model. The '72 and '73 models had a parking light between the headlights. I believe this one has only the Cadillac "winged crest" in that position.

2008-09-05 17:57
1968 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special Brougham
David Guetta: Love Is Gone (2007)
The year is correct, but I believe it's the Fleetwood Brougham (wreath and crest instead of "V" and crest on front of hood). 2008-09-02 09:42
1930 Cadillac V-16 [452]
Romance on the Run (1938)
The hood mascot is not standard Cadillac issue. The "standard" mascot was either the Cadillac "Goddess" with long, flowing hair (or robe?), or the Cadillac "heron", similar to the mascot seen here. 2008-08-25 09:01
1968 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado
Take This Job and Shove It (1981)
Looks like a front-wheel drive Fleetwood Eldorado coupe, range from 1967 to 1976. 2008-08-15 13:35
1961 Cadillac Ambulance Superior Royale
La course du lièvre à travers les champs (1972)
The circular parking lights incorporated in the bumper suggest the year as 1961, not 1962. 2008-08-15 01:29
1955 Cadillac Eldorado
Blague dans le coin (1963)
I believe the movie car was the personal property of the lead actor, French comedian Fernandel. Note the missing Cadillac "Goddess" hood mascot, apparently replaced by some custom trim on top of the front fenders. 2008-08-13 18:08
1968 Cadillac DeVille Convertible
Tato (1995)
I think I see a side-marker light on the tail-light housing, making this car a 1968 DeVille series convertible.
2008-08-11 19:41
1930 Cadillac V-16
A Night at the Opera (1935)
It's too dark to tell, but I will hazard a guess at a Cadillac 5 or 7 pass. sedan/limousine of 1929-30. A lighter image may reveal more details. 2008-08-06 18:33

A Decade to Remember: The 1950's (2007)
Uh-Oh ! Not a Packard as I first thought, but more likely a Russian "copy". 2008-08-05 08:46
1947 ZiS 110 B
A Decade to Remember: The 1950's (2007)
Uh-Oh ! I think I goofed. It's more likely one of those Russian Packard lookalikes ! 2008-08-05 08:44

A Decade to Remember: The 1950's (2007)
I think that's the same 40s Packard seen in an earlier clip. 2008-08-05 08:40

A Decade to Remember: The 1950's (2007)
Packard for sure. The experts out there will certainly be able to pin-point the year. My guess: 1941. 2008-08-05 08:39
1958 Cadillac Fleetwood 75
A Decade to Remember: The 1950's (2007)
1958 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 sedan or limousine. 2008-08-05 08:38
