Why exact 1973? Because between late 1968 and 1972 the reversing lights were mounted on the boot lid. Before and afterwards in the main clusters.
US-market cars had black rubber bumpers since mid 1973, so for 1974 model year - the MY is usual key on this side.

I'm sure, that it's not the same car, which was crashed. The chrome-trims are missing, when you watch the thumbnail, the headrest are different, too.
Probably they took a wreck and have overpainted it.
