| 1962 Austin A60 Cambridge [ADO38A] Flight to Fury (1964) |
johnfromStaffs ![]() | It is an A60 Cambridge from the paint scheme, the lighter stripe was a feature of the car, but Mk II is incorrect and should be deleted. There was only ever one design of A60 Cambridge, the Mk I and Mk II designations apply to the A55 Cambridge, Mk I 1957 to 1959 which was a facelifted A50 and Mk II 1959 to 1961, which was the early design of Farina with larger fins at the rear. | 2012-08-02 12:02
| 1946 Bentley Mk.VI Vanden Plas Saloon Flight to Fury (1964) |
robgeelen2 ![]() | 1946 - 1948 Bentley Mark VI Saloon by VandenPlas, design 1732, of which 14 were made, not all of which survive. Unfortunately it is not possible to pin a chassisnumber on this car. None were built after the last in the spring of 1948, when VandenPlas was ordered to concentrate on the in-house products of the Austin Group. | 2012-08-02 11:28
| 1946 Bentley Mk.VI Vanden Plas Saloon Flight to Fury (1964) |
johnfromStaffs ![]() | The Vanden Plas four door saloon, introduced in 1946, so most likely to be a Mark VI. Not my cup of tea at all, there were much nicer bodies available, and, in any case, who would really want their Bentley to look like an Austin? |
