1964 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Club Coupe [927]
Mission: Impossible (1966-1973)
RIoldcarguy US
DynaMike wrote By the facia and the chromed wheel arches I'd say this is a 1964 900 Monza.

Correct, DynaMike. Exact same thing (except color) as the Corvair I've owned 32 years. If you saw the episode, a Corvair was about the only readily-available car that could play the role (the part may have been written for it.) The IMF member (Barney, IIRC) hid in the trunk, in the front of the car, following the truck. He hopped out when the truck stopped, then climbed onto it. The action could all happen out of the truck driver's mirror range. BTW, while the cars were still officially called "900 Monza" nobody called them that, just "Monza" and the number had disappeared from the emblem, I believe, by 1963.

Ddey65 wrote 1968-70 Plymouth Satellite... which means I could be wrong about the "Belvedere" in The Out of Towners.

No worries; you're correct on the Belvedere in the Out of Towners. These years, the Satellite name was applied to what were essentially the top-end Belvederes.

Given the year of the show and the penchant for the sponsor's cars to make the rounds from show to show, I'd bet that this is the same car from Mannix:

1960 Porsche 356 B [T5]
Mission: Impossible (1966-1973)
62imperial USAs in Ep. 2.19, the rolling-down-the-cliff sequence was borrowed from the 1964 Joan Crawford TV movie Della; note the crushed roof in the last still shot and the undamaged roof in the main photo. The original cliff sequence ended with the car hidden by brush, so the MI folks must have added the fire shot with a different (and older) junker Porsche for dramatic effect...
