Die grünen Teufel von Monte Cassino (1958) ingo DEAbout the movie: for sure I will never watch it. These masses of anachronistic cars -the other requisites will not be better- are such a pain in the a**, that any interest to watch it is gone. 2012-05-09 15:52

Weasel1984 a écrit 1956 1100 I/103E, not 1400.

so this is a typical Goof right in opening scene of movie playing January of 1944
maybe it is possible to identify carholder etc. cause this car seems to belong to airfield in 1958

Die grünen Teufel von Monte Cassino (1958) andrepa DEvilero, thank you for beeing so kind, to correct the hyphen for instance , as i allways left blank on other sites for purpose of search engine, i found out it is a good way to identify make by checking list with success in case of Fiat 640 N , but was sure the ambulance is a Fiat by its looks i didn´t find in the whole wide internet, to my experience books can provide precise information compared to google picture search
was not sure if icmdb is the place for exceeded war material, so omited the pure guns shown only left this tank
as a former Bundeswehr artillery observer in the 80ies beeing used to identify tanks - friend or enemy - by parts of the silhouette, so this tank has two guns on 1950 chassis which identifies it as the only anti aircraft tank in US arsenal in the 50ies to 70ies, pretty misplaced in Monte casino
the Maico could be identified by sound as atwo stroke cycle
thank you for correcting Magirus-Deutz,
i undestand it will leed to chaos if you have Magirus KHD Deutz etc. for same make
other thing i have learned you try to keep name of origin like Fiat ambulanza instead of ambulance
Kübelwagen instead of Kubelwagen etc.

because of two guns + cahssis beeing only anti aircraft tank in US arsenal 1958
pretty misplaced in Montecasino with allies air superiority

Die grünen Teufel von Monte Cassino (1958) vilero ESandrepa, I wish everyone were like you uploading pictures in so short time as you are on the site but help us a little bit more filling in the 'Class' field you use (sometimes) leaving blank and checking same models already listed. When the picture is uploaded make and model is showed in red letters, if you click on them and you don't get results, that means something is wrong. For instance, Magirus-Deutz is on the site with (-) hyphen is you write Magirus Deutz without hyphen you are doing a new make. You identified this /vehicle_500264.html as GM (as make). I don't know what can it be but, if you click on the model you left once the picture was uploaded you won't find any result and that is rare. So in these cases better leave the make and model as unknown (writing 'unknown' only in the make field). Same for Volkswagen Kübelwagen [Typ 82]. If you click on Volkswagen, you won't see Typ 82 as model and you only will find it on the chassis field code /vehicles_make-Volkswagen_model-K%FCbelwagen.html Thanks. 2012-05-09 11:10
