Jane Bond meets Thunderballs (1986)		 zodiac SEIt's correct that the rectangular chrome (aluminium) stripe beneath the bonnet (hood) and inside of the indicators suggest this is a 1978+, but the rectangular rear view mirrors indicates this is a 1980 model. Also indicated post 1978 is the colour matching headrests, which should have been black on a 1978 model.

I thoroughly believe this is a 1980 Volvo 242, and so is this one /vehicle_195208-Volvo-242-1979.html .		 2012-08-04 10:49

Jane Bond meets Thunderballs (1986)		 electra225 ITIf this were an European version (I mean for the European market) the grille would be a '78 (Chrome surronding the grille but no more the vertical side amber lights, that in EU were half white and half amber, of course).
I am confused since I think in the USA the number of headlights grew up in the same period.
