| Made for Movie Herkimer Battle Jitney Mystery Men (1999) |
Sneakin Thief ![]() | Saw this while searching online for the herkimer. This is a REAL vehicle. It was developed by the US and UK during WW2, There are only five left in existence, and they are worth about $30 million. here is the link I found this info on ( Link to "blog.hemmings.com" ) I also first saw it in a book in high school, can't remember the name of the book though. | 2007-09-17 01:48
| 1959 Rambler Rebel Cross Country Custom [5929] Mystery Men (1999) |
Skywatcher68 ![]() | Rambler used the model name/trim level/body type convention. Up to you if you want to match their use or not. | 2007-09-04 19:32
| 1959 Rambler Rebel Cross Country Custom [5929] Mystery Men (1999) |
antp ![]() | Isn't Custom a trim level and Cross Country a body designation? Usually we keep the body name in model name, and trim name as extra info (hence it gets displayed at the end) | 2007-09-04 18:18
| 1959 Rambler Rebel Cross Country Custom [5929] Mystery Men (1999) |
skywatcher68 ![]() | "Custom" should be before "Cross Country", and "Station Wagon" is unnecessary because that's covered by the "Cross Country" moniker. -- Last edit: 2007-09-04 03:27:48 |

| 1971 Opel GT Mystery Men (1999) |
hiergehts ![]() | The flip-out rear window was not introuduced on the GT until 1971 so it must be a 1971-73. | 2007-08-26 22:01
| 1955 Messerschmitt KR 200 Mystery Men (1999) |
Alexander ![]() | The windscreen shows that it is the KR 200 version, the logo that it is from 1955 or 1956 and still branded Messerschmitt. | 2007-08-25 12:43
| Made for Movie Herkimer Battle Jitney Mystery Men (1999) |
entropy47 ![]() | I'm interested in any additional specific information about this vehicle. I believe it was a custom one-off made by the prop department. What was the chassis it was built on? It looks a bit like a military 2 1/2 or 5 ton. Is this thing still around, and if so, where? | 2007-05-14 17:30

| 1970 Citroën 2CV AK 400 Mystery Men (1999) |
antp ![]() | Funny that I missed it. I am not sure that they sold these officially, but for sure some were imported. You can often find these (sedan & van) on Ebay USA. -- Last edit: 2007-03-15 17:57:57 |

| 1970 Citroën 2CV AK 400 Mystery Men (1999) |
DynaMike ![]() | Since the rear body structure is rather high, it's a Citroën 2CV AK 400, introduced in July 1970. The round head lights changed to square ones in September 1974. Strange is indeed the long side window, but some countries they were like that (though I can't say which ones and why...) -- Last edit: 2007-03-15 16:47:20 |

| 1970 Citroën 2CV AK 400 Mystery Men (1999) |
carchasesfanatic ![]() | ![]() I have just added this, as i find it strange to find one fo these in an american movie, but it seems to be a rare version, or perhaps they modified it, well anyway, what is it? |

| 1980 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Coupe Customized Mystery Men (1999) |
Benzilla ![]() | As I said, it was originally a 1980-1984 Fleetwood Brougham Coupe, an should be listed as such. I am 100% sure about this. Even if it has been modified. | 2007-03-01 21:20
| 1968 Dodge Charger Mystery Men (1999) |
moparguy1973 ![]() | A 1968 Charger cop car? Sweet! Cars like that would make me seriously consider becoming a cop... |

| 1980 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Coupe Customized Mystery Men (1999) |
qwerty_86 ![]() | It's an early '80s coupe with a '90 front end swap. Those lowrider guys just like to swap those front ends for some odd reason. I really hate the composite headlights on those style Cadillacs. | 2007-01-12 07:17
| 1980 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Coupe Customized Mystery Men (1999) |
antp ![]() | It is a coupé, not a stretched limousine |

| 1980 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Coupe Customized Mystery Men (1999) |
mrcadillac ![]() | Custom stretched limousine on Cadillac chassis by independent coach builder. The base car may have been a Fleetwood model but "Fleetwood" did NOT sign the conversion so it really is a misnomer to call it a "Cadillac Fleetwood". | 2007-01-09 15:02
| Made for Movie Herkimer Battle Jitney Mystery Men (1999) |
bmrivest ![]() | I think in a lot of ways it looks like one of the twelve GM Futurliners made for the Parade of Progress back in the 50s. I saw one go for millions during the Barrett Jackson car auctions last year. | 2006-11-12 21:40

| 1980 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Coupe Customized Mystery Men (1999) |
oucadman ![]() | This car is definately NOT a 1980. It appears to be at least a 1990 model. The composite headlamps and the wide, body colored front bumper rub strips give it away. | 2006-09-27 20:58
| 1989 Geo Metro Mystery Men (1999) |
tonkatracker ![]() | 1989 (notice the nice 80's rocker panel stripes they actually had metro cut out of them) and thats a 1984 Honda Accord Hatchback right in front of the metro -- Last edit: 2006-09-06 00:47:52 |

| 1959 Rambler Rebel Cross Country Custom [5929] Mystery Men (1999) |
pilou ![]() | To make ( almost) everyone happy I would say : Rambler Rebel Cross Country Custom Station Wagon model 5929 of 1959.I am saying almost because although AMC built, these were sold as Ramblers , not AMC Ramblers. The Rebel used the 215 hp V8 engine and contrary to the six and the super ,could be ordered with an automatic transmission. | 2006-08-01 16:08

| 1980 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Coupe Customized Mystery Men (1999) |
Benzilla ![]() | Actually, if you really look at the pics you can see its an early '80s Fleetwood Coupe with composite headlights and bodyside moldings off a '90-'92 Brougham. Nice looking car IMO. | 2006-07-31 09:17
| 1980 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Coupe Customized Mystery Men (1999) |

| Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse Stretched Limousine [W140] Mystery Men (1999) |
Hecubus ![]() | I don't think so, it looks more European to me (I'm leaning towards Mercedes-Benz S-class) | 2006-07-31 03:31
| 1955 Messerschmitt KR 200 Mystery Men (1999) |
Alexander ![]() | I am not absolutely sure, but I think this logo was only used on the Messerschmitt KR 175. Additionally the position of the indicators and the shape of the wings speak for that. The car in the background is a Tatra, probably 87. |
