GM TDH 4512 This Boy's Life (1993)	Mr. TDM 4512	The bus is a GM TDH 4512 in National City Line livery sans ThermoMatic heating and ventilation. The GM TDH 4510 from 1948 was a wide body with 500 made exclusively for New York City and one demonstrator to Los Angeles. Wide bodied 'Old Look' GM buses (102 inch) are easily identified from the rear by an eight inch separation between the rear windows.	2011-01-22 06:30
Gillig Transit Coach This Boy's Life (1993)	srosenow_98	SMC, good sir (or madam), I hate to correct you, but that bus is NOT a 318D-series Gillig. The 318D series Gillig did not debut until 1970 and the style of Gillig produced here ceased production in 1966 as Gillig stopped building the Transit Coach with the 72" headroom as depicted here, in that year. I own and produce GilligCoaches.NET (the website for whose link is directly above your post), and have been a Gillig historian for most of my life. That's clearly not a 318D. The only options are a Cummins-powered C-180 or C-190 model or a International-powered RD501D-13 model, or even a Ford-powered 534D-series. Is the same 3701 before WWII renamed after WWII to 3751 (37 passengers, model "01 and a half" = 51).
