| 1975 Imperial LeBaron [5Y-M] K2 (1992) |
Commander 57 ![]() | Yes, Cougar is correct about the bumper, thereby eliminating 1974. 1975 Imperial brochure photo: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" 1976 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham brochure photo: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" 1977 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham brochure photo: Link to "www.oldcarbrochures.com" Notice the 1977 models had a rubber strip around the bumper corners, eliminating the photo car as a '77. From a close viewing of the '75 Imperial and '76 New Yorker Brougham photos in the brochures, I'm revising my statement as to central divider width. They do appear to be the same per Plymouth-Guy's comment. The only differences I can see are the nameplates and hood ornaments, both of which are too far away to tell in the distant photo. Imperial or New Yorker Brougham - take your pick! -- Last edit: 2010-01-17 16:57:23 |

| 1975 Imperial LeBaron [5Y-M] K2 (1992) |
vilero ![]() | CougarTim is right about the slotted front bumper. According productions figures in 1975 only LeBarons were made but, from this view impossible to say if it's a LeBaron Hardtop or LeBaron Crown Coupe. BTW, I have just read 1975 was the last Imperial year as own make (55-75), later only came back for 81-83. | 2010-01-14 11:05

plymouth-guy ![]() | I think it's virtually impossible to detect a difference. Go to a google search and the grille divider looks virtually the same between the two. | 2010-01-13 19:34
