Q868 GRW is listed as a 1987 Carbodies on DVLA - however, I believe these weren't made past 1985? |

Q prefix plates are dodgy - used for things with uncertain origin and mongrels - rebuilds, kit cars, stolen recovery, lost identity/paperwork etc. Carbodies did a series of FX4 rebuilds as FX4Q which might fit "A Q-reg Carbodies: ![]() From http://www.aronline.co.uk/blogs/cars/austin/fx4fl2/the-cars-austin-fl2fx4/: The vehicle details for Q432 GKV are: Date of Liability 13 07 1997 Date of First Registration 08 06 1984" (from /vehicle_687447-Carbodies-FX4R-1982.html). Interesting that both this one and the linked example have Coventry/Warwickshire plates .... -- Last edit: 2017-01-28 14:14:53 |

All of them are registered as Carbodies up to 1997 and the end of the Fairways. We've had this one before, and I just listed it as an LTI FX4Q because of how late it was: /vehicle_835153-LTI-FX4Q-1987.html |
