 it has GDR-plates!If the movie was made before February 1990 (when GDR-people were finnally allowed to import private cars, it was not legal/possible for a while after the 9.November 1989), it wouldn't be too strange. If the scene was shot after the 1.July 1990, it was not a bg thing any more, this was the day, when the GDR got real money. According to the IMDB, the episode was first shown on 1 January 1990. I suppose that by watching the episode one would know whether it was made before or after November 1989.
