Is not a 1978 model, must be 1983-83, with twin suare headlights ( and with a awful grille bumper protector)

OK, I have found out that Leone name was only used on sedans of this vintage. Wagons were just called Subaru L Wagon or sports model was Subaru Touring Wagon. This would appear to be an L Wagon

Very confusing naming situation in Australia. Retrospectively, these are known as L-Series in Australia, but when they were actually sold in the 1980s, the "L" name was not used in marketing at all, nor does it appear on the vehicles themselves.

A brochure from 1983, refers to 2 models in Australia: the "4WD Station Wagon", and the "4WD Touring Wagon". In 1984 only, a limited edition "4WD Sportswagon" was sold.
