If I understand this correctly, Canada used the American way of naming those Volvo's. If so, this is a Volvo GL http://www.vlvworld.com/indexframe.html?VIN/vin81-96.htm Link to "www.volvotips.com" . 1980 (only) if short instrument cluster, 1981 - 82 if the wider one.
