1971-85 grille (more guessed than identified due to the "quality" of the drawing) of a Series III. There's no flared wheel arches, so it can't be a 1983+ 90/110/127/Defender. But the Crew Cab body never existed as a factory model for the Series III, it was unveiled in 1983 as 110 Crew Cab / 127 / Defender 130... (Post-factory modification // 127 / Defender 130) The long wheelbase for the Series III was 109"/2.77 m long. As cartoon vehicle, how should we identify it, then? Series III 109" Crew Cab 'Made for movie'? |

To whomever added the Station Wagon 'Crew Cab Conversion' ID complement: based on what? It's in a cartoon, so this body certainly just came out of the mind of the cartoonists (who apparently didn't seem to seek for ultimate accuracy, for this cartoon), and not the representation of any existing vehicle. It would have been identified as "Made for movie" in a real movie, but for what I understood this ID shouldn't be used for cartoons... |

Looks to me like a 130 or Defender 130 for proportions, but with errors (no arches, rear door edge should be angled, S3 grille). Whatever it's too long for a 109. |

Don't forget the recessed grille of a Series III, dsl, as visible in opal's thumbnail. As said in my previous comment, this must be another vehicle with "mixed origins" that exists only in the cartoonists' mind... |
