Supposing it was sold in 1939 in Holland, it would have had the name Super Six. Because of the thread of war the Opel importer in Holland thought it wouldn't be wise to sell cars with a military name, therefore he changed the name to that of its predecessor. I read this in the very interesting site about dutch license plates: http://www.volkswouter.nl/hnka/index.php?topic=2067.0 To keep it possible to find this car I'd say it's best to list it as Kapitän Super Six. |
